Tiggy’s is Back Online!

It took us a little longer than expected to upgrade our systems but the Tiggy’s site is now back up-and-running! Plus, we have new classes:

MadronaBrand new Maggie’s Garden has proven popular and is already almost full; if you’d like to take it after it fills, email us and let us know and we’ll schedule another class!

We’re also offering three Open Classes for three Fridays in a row; this is a perfect opportunity for those working on a pattern packet or project that requires more than one session.

Madrona and Amalfi Coast have just a few spots left and are starting soon – sign up now!

We also have an exciting new class coming up with a new guest teacher, Dave Benning: Vancouver’s premiere rock ‘n’ roll artist. Check out his work on his website, davebenning.com. We’ll be holding a special sneak-preview demo that will showcase his teaching style and will have limited spots, so make sure to check your inbox for updates!

New Spring Classes PLUS Big Tiggy’s News!

rosesrosesWe’ve just added a brand new class to the schedule: Rose’s Roses. There are also new dates added to the Dandelion and Golden Tree classes, with a few spaces still available in each. One more Open Class has been added on Friday, April 11, and it’s the last one until the fall. If you have any unfinished pieces you’d like to finally make time for, or are working on your own project and would like some extra guidance, the Open Class is for you.

Finally we will be adding another brand-new class before the summer break, Arbutus, starting Saturday April 19th. We’ll add it to the site once Jackie has finished painting it. 🙂

We close early for the summer this year (May 9th!) so these are among the last classes we will be offering until September! Make sure you sign up now if you’d like to do one more painting before the summer.

To celebrate our 20th year in business, we will be renovating the studio over the summer to provide our students more space and a lighter, brighter surrounding to paint in! We’ll be hosting a 20 Year Anniversary Open House in September, where you can drop in to see the new studio!

We will also be renovating the website at the same time in order to enable class sign-ups online! The website will not be available while we’re updating but should be back online by mid June/early July. We will schedule our fall classes once the website is back up and running.

A lot is happening at Tiggy’s this year, so be sure to keep checking the website or sign-up for our Newsletter to get all the latest updates!

Thanks and Happy Painting!

New Class Dates for the Fall

Tuscan Steps

We’ve just added new class dates for the Fall 2013 schedule: two new Beginner’s dates, Tuscan Steps, Plumeria, and a new Coloured Pencil class from Eileen Sorg (twodogstudio.com). The project hasn’t been decided yet but Eileen’s classes are always very popular and fill quickly, so if you’d like to learn how to create photo-realistic art using coloured pencils don’t miss out!

We will be adding new classes to the schedule by September, including a handmade Christmas wreath class in early December, so be sure to check back regularly or sign up for our newsletter to receive updates in your inbox!

Also keep in mind the studio will be closed for the summer June 12, though Jackie will still be checking phone messages and emails over the summer if you have any questions or would like to sign up for a class.

Thanks everyone and Happy Painting!

In case you haven’t noticed, we’ve renovated our website! It’s now even easier to navigate and tablet-friendly. We’ve added a new Tiggy’s News page that will be updated regularly to keep you informed of what’s happening at Tiggy’s, as well as a FAQ page that answers many frequently asked questions we get at the studio. We’ve also added an Art Supplies page that lists the supplies we carry (but be sure to call us ahead if you are looking for something that isn’t listed!). Hope you enjoy the new site, be sure to let us know what you think!
